ZKG Energy (Chongqing) Research Institute Co., Ltd. is an innovative research and development institution initiated by Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
The registered capital of the Institute is 10 million yuan, among which the Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion is invested by intellectual property (accounting for 70% of the shares), and Chongqing Unconventional Oil and Gas Research Institute is invested by cash (accounting for 30% of the shares).
In the meantime, the government of Shapingba District provides comprehensive support for the development of the institute, including funds, sites, expert apartments, investment, and financing, etc.
In 2020, ZKG Energy was awarded as a high-level new R&D institution in Chongqing (10 in total), and Post-***toral Research Center.
